Evan T. Robinson received his B.S. degree in Pharmacy and M.S. in Pharmacy Administration from St. Louis College of Pharmacy.  He received his Ph.D. in Pharmacy Administration from Auburn University, the Department of Pharmacy Care Systems.   At Auburn, his doctoral research was on the instructional and philosophical orientations of pharmacy school faculty.  Other research interests include the curricular decision making process, developing reflective practices within pharmacy education, and issues relevant to adult and distance education.

Dr. Robinson possesses several areas of expertise within technology-mediated education.  Specific topics include distance and adult education, the development or enhancement of distance education from start-up and from onsite technology initiatives, financial implications of technology-mediated education, and multi-purposing developed materials within online learning communities and higher education.  Educational topics of interest include curriculum development, integration and modeling, understanding and developing reflective practice skills, applying strategic planning models to the curriculum, and bridging the gap between theory and practice as it relates to education.

Dr. Robinson has published and presented nationally on the application of technology in the classroom, institutional readiness for technology initiatives, the appropriate re-purposing of digital materials, consortia opportunities in higher education, marketing online offerings and change and leadership for technology in higher education.  Finally, he has written and presented on a variety of educational topics as well.
