Fadi M. Alkhateeb graduated from Jordan University of Science & Technology in Irbid, Jordan in 2001 with a BS in Pharmacy. He worked as a hospital pharmacist for one year at Jordanian University Hospital in Amman, Jordan. Then he received his Ph.D. in Pharmacy Administration in 2007 from University of Iowa’s Program of Pharmaceutical Socioeconomics. Dr. Alkhateeb’s research interests include pharmaceutical marketing, marketing of pharmaceutical care services, Medication Therapy Management Services (MTMs) and adoption of new technology. During the past four years, Dr. Alkhateeb’s has been involved with several projects focused on understanding adoption of electronic detailing (e-detailing), outcomes for Medicaid managed care, attitudes of Medicare Beneficiaries toward Pharmacist Provided Medication Management Activities as Part of the Medicare Part D and adoption of herbal products. His dissertation title is about “Influences on Physicians’ Adoption of E-detailing”. |
