David A. Latif received his B.S. degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Georgia, a Masters of Business Administration from Augusta State University, and a Ph.D. in Pharmacy Administration from Auburn University’s Department of Pharmacy Care Systems.   At Auburn, his doctoral research revolved around predictors of clinical performance in pharmacists.  

Dr. Latif’s current research interests include examining the relationship between pharmacists' moral reasoning, their work climates, and specific performance measures, such as clinical decision-making.  Additional research interests include financial management, predictors of pharmacy student success, and the relationship between management and organizational effectiveness.  Since obtaining his Ph.D. in 1997, Dr. Latif has published over 55 refereed articles, of which he was either sole or first author, in various pharmacy and business journals relating to his research interests.  In addition, he has presented his research findings at many scholarly pharmacy and management conferences.
