Pharmacy Day : West Virginia State Legislature
Accomplishments: Students provided about 40-50 blood pressure screenings. Furthermore, we were able to network with legislators, pharmacists, and members of the community. Future Improvements: This event was a success and is something that we would like to occur annually.

Description of Activity: Twenty University of Charleston students attended Pharmacy Legislative Day at the West Virginia Capitol on February 19, 2007. Students provided blood pressure screenings. Students had the opportunity to meet with legislators and discuss issues pertinent to the profession of pharmacy.
